Richard is a GIS Specialist with 10 years of experience, having worked at University College Dublin, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Jacobs Engineering. At the EPA, Richard prepared maps for national environmental publications and played a key role managing the organisations spatial database. At Jacobs, Richard contributed to major infrastructure projects, producing GIS data and figures for Environmental Impact Assessments, and supporting public consultations. He developed a cost-saving Python tool for transport journey analysis, presented at a national GIS conference. Currently, he optimises renewable energy planning at Galileo Empower using the latest geospatial technologies.
