Board Member and CEO
Diarmuid is a renewable energy entrepreneur with 17 years’ experience across Europe, Africa & Asia working with utilities and IPPs. Diarmuid co-founded the Galileo Empower joint venture in 2020 and leads the executive management team.
Paolo Grossi
Board Member
Paolo has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector with Italian, Swiss and German utilities, concentrating on general management in power sales, energy trading, and wind development and operations.
Marc McLoughlin
Board Member and COO
Marc is a renewable energy professional with 20 years’ experience. Marc has previously held senior roles responsible for the development, construction and operations of wind energy projects totalling over 10 GW.
Claire Ratcliffe

Claire has over 12 years of experience acquiring, developing, financing and building wind and solar projects in UK, Europe and APAC, most recently at BayWa r.e.
Filippo Chiesa
Board Member
Filippo has over fifteen years of development and investment experience in the renewables sector, specialising in solar photovoltaics and working with American, British and Italian investors.

CLO
Seán mac Cann is a former City lawyer with 30 years’ global experience in private practice and in industry and 20 years’ specific experience in renewables.
Alexander Kelly
CFO
Alex holds an MSc in Energy and Environmental Finance from Smurfit Business School, Dublin, as well as an MSc in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management from Aalborg University, Denmark. Alex has several years’ experience working in finance, energy engineering and energy related consultancy.
Sharon Brown
Group Financial Controller
Sharon is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow member of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Having previously worked as internal finance manager for a ‘top 6’ firm of traditional accountants.
Una Hannigan
Finance Co-Ordinator
Una is a graduate from UCD Smurfit School of Business, obtaining a first-class honour’s in MSc Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance. Una is responsible for financial modelling as well as corporate and project budgeting. Una is currently undertaking her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

Eithne is a Chartered Governance Professional holding a Degree in Business Studies with Accounting and having in excess of 15 years’ experience working in company secretarial.

Rhiannon is a skilled GIS specialist graduating Summa Cum Laude with two BScs in Geography and Sustainable Community Planning and Development from Appalachian State University, North Carolina.
