Leslie is responsible for all aspects of project management on the Welsh pipeline of projects.
Leslie has over 30 years’ experience in consultancy specialising in Environmental Impact Assessment. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (FCIWEM), a Chartered Environmentalist (c. Env) and Chartered Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (MIEMA) and a Registered Principal EIA Practitioner. Leslie has an MSc in Rural Resources and Environmental Policy and a BSc in Combined Sciences.
Leslie has over 30 years’ experience working previously for Arcadis (formerly Hyder Consulting) where she was a Technical Director and the Environmental Impact Assessment Discipline Lead. She has experience in project management and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams and Environmental Impact Assessment studies. Leslie has led feasibility studies, stakeholder and public consultation and preparation of planning applications for a number of onshore wind and solar projects as well as numerous developments across other sectors including highways, residential development, defence and water projects. Leslie co-authored ‘Guidelines for the Assessment of Indirect and Cumulative Impacts as well as Impact Interactions’ (European Commission, 1999) which continues to be widely referenced. She also completed a review for the European Commission to assess if the EIA remedial process had adequately assessed the key impacts and the need for remediation and compensation measures associated with the Derrybrien wind farm case.
